Far too short for self-standing publication, I feel somewhat cheated after the excellent Sherlock Holmes in Canterbury by this author. The story is over almost before it has begun.

This short book contains three Sherlock Holmes stories (The Missing Cleric, The Sunleys of Canterbury, The Ball of Twine) set in the cathedral city in Kent and I read these during a visit there. Information about the author is elusive online, though he is apparently a renowned Sherlockian and these stories are very authentic, with a completely natural feel of a Watson narration and of the characters' dialogue. Great stuff.
