Unfortunately, Still Hot for You ended up being a DNF. I am not a big contemporary reader and I just could not get into this one. So many things felt wrong and bothered me.

For starters the blurb turned me off. You can read it yourself.

Shay feels she has wrecked her marriage of five years by demanding a baby. She knows she was wrong. Really!! It’s not her fault. Talking to her husband about having kids is not wrong. Yes, this is something that can come between a couple. I get that and I can feel for Shay, but it just felt so wrong for her to take all the blame.

From what I gathered by the first two chapters is that Dylan is not against kids, he just wants to be finically secure. Instead of talking with his wife about the issue, well he made it worse by not talking and she feels her marriage is doomed. Not sure why Dylan has distanced himself from his wife. If they love each other as much as was indicated they should have been able to talk the issue out.

She loves her husband and does not want it to end, so what does she do to fix it, yep a Booty Camp. What’s that? A weekend filled with seduction! Dylan will talk about sex, but not the really issue. Now sex, not the issue at this point just turned me off the story.

Still Hot for You was not the book for me. If the blurb intrigues you, I urge you to give it a shot. Just because it did not work for me does not mean it won’t for you.

A sexy read THE RIGHT TEMPTATION captivates the audience from the first paragraph. Another great story from the author. Check out our review for STILL HOT FOR YOU by the same author. A recommended read.

STILL HOT FOR YOU by Diane Escalera was a hot and steamy love story. Shay and Dylan have been happily married for five years, until the subject of having a baby comes up. Trying to rekindle the fire, Shay takes the advice of a friend and starts booty camp. With the help of booty camp, the two find a way to communicate better in and out of the bedroom. This was a very believeable story and I would suggest it for anyone looking for a steamy love story. This book had been received for the purpose of an honest review.

When I first started this book, I was concerned I would not be able to finish it. I am an animal lover and dog fighting is part of the plot line. Fortunately, it is not too graphic in that area and definitely represents the evils of the “sport.”The sex, however, is graphic . . . and hot. There is a plot to the story, so it is not just one sex scene after another. I particularly enjoyed the scenes where Sienna tries to check Cruz out without him noticing. It never seemed to work. Whenever, she looked at him, she caught him looking at her. He was most definitely an ass man while she drooled over his chest and abs. I have to say, they way they were described, I would be drooling too.What I did not like is the fact that they immediately fell in bed with each other. Sienna has just lost her dog that she considers her child. She is distraught and heartbroken. There are several scenes where she breaks down in tears. I completely understand her emotions. Then a few scenes later, she is laughing and partying with her friends or making out with Cruz. I just didn’t find it believable.I liked the book well enough that I would probably read a sequel. The ending of the book hinted at one.
