I cannot even say why i enjoyed it that much. It is more or less a typical litRPG story - but the MC is something else. He does not even want to play and even more is not willing to act as it is expected from a "normal" player. One of the better ones in this genre - i am curious what will happen in the next volumes.

The protagonist is a journalist given the job to write a few articles on a popular game. The game, in classical litrpg fashion, has horrible game design and is for some reason filled up with assholes and psychos. Unlike the typical litrpg the only thing keeping him there is him needing to write articles and therefore we get to see his normal life with his abusive girlfriend too. There's not much of a story, he just kinda bumbles along without any goal doing a few quests and such.
There's not really much plot to speak of, the main character acts inconstantly and the world building is crap and the side characters aren't very good either. Not a good book unless you like flat out boring litrpgs.… (meer)

Unlike most other litrpg's this one centres around a twelve year old kid. the story is original and fresh by litrpg standards, though most of the book is just stat grinding.
Our main character is an orphan in a future in which orphans are given npc families in a game to aid in emotional development. Our main character happens to be a super genius who's also great at fighting, so he can beat up the other orphans when they try getting money from him. We join him right when he first joins the game leading to litrpg stuff with some real world sections with his psychologist sprinkled in.
The main problem with the book is the writing. I almost felt insulted by how bad it was. The book claims the main character speaks like an eighteen year old, which would be much more believable if the author didn't write like at a twelve year old level.
