Genevieve Fortin

This sweet and realistic romance has something for everyone. There's Joyce (56) who's sophisticated but sensible and Amanda (32) who's socially awkward, but clear-headed and compassionate. Of the two, I can relate to Amanda; I'm not as socially awkward but sooo not into mind games and trickery. Likewise, I like how Fortin convincingly sheds light on the topic of age-gap romances, which if too large, are considered taboo. Personally, I favor those older than me, so it was refreshing to read how Joyce redefined herself and faced her insecurities.… (meer)
