Chuggy is basically a Little-Engine-that-Could rehash. This story introduces a love interest - the blue circus-train caboose.

Introduces the basic plot of Mozart's The Magic Flute. Good way to introduce kids to opera/theater/performance.

Mouse lives with his family at the Metropolitan Opera. Works as a page-turner for the prompter and puts on operas to entertain his family. During a performance of The Magic Flute he becomes entranced by the music and dances on stage. The opera-hating cat of the Met, named Mephisto, pounces but also becomes entranced by the music and begins to dance as well.

I wasn't too thrilled about this book because I am not theatrical and this book is. It is about a musical mouse who loves his job as a page tuner for the opera's Prompter, but in the basement of the Opera House lives a cat who hates music and mice. It is a journey of the world of opera, where anything can happen.
