I was drawn to this book by the cover. Once I started reading, I could not stop. I was intrigued by the storyline. It was not what I was expecting in a good way. The horror aspect of this story is one that slowly creeps up on you.

Instantly, I felt an emotional connection towards Rosemary and her husband. You could feel the love he had for his wife in the way that he cared for her. He did so without complaint.

The mystery that is the garden is one of amazement and horror. Still undecided on if I would want a garden like this or not. All I can say is that I did not see the ending coming. I do want to check out more books by this author.… (meer)

A Fig For All The Devils is one of the best novels I’ve read this year. It is a wonderful blend of horror and comedy, mixed in with the philosophy of dealing with grief, and a coming of age story,

Sonny is a teen whose father committed suicide. Feeling bereft as he feels his Mom doesn’t really like him, the family moves to rural Oregon. It’s there that he ends up meeting the Grim Reaper, who believes that Sonny will be his perfect replacement. What then follows is the story of Sonny’s journey to becoming an apprentice Reaper, along with his personal growth into maturity.

I can’t say enough about the author’s excellent and captivating writing style. The structure of the book was quite unique. All the characters were fully developed.

This book is such a treat, scripture based stories to share with your child, and spend an enjoyable time with them.
The book is geared to children ages 3 to 8, but my 10 year old loves this book, so I’m sure the older children would enjoy the stories. What a treat to find a belief based book that my children love, while I’m reading they are enjoy the wonderful graphics, and I can hardly turn the page as they continue to peruse.
I highly recommend this book as a wonderful way to supplement a wonderful spiritual experience.
