Hector Garcia puts his qualifications as a psychologist to good use, picking apart various scriptures from both the Bible and Quran to give the reader a very unique perspective on how the gods act in comparison to our ape ancestors and even apes today. Alpha God introduced the reader to an outside perspective on religion and relates how various gods and their worshippers act in comparison to primitive social hierarchy. Definitely a must-read for absolutely anyone, whether they're in their teens or even older generations, the book's writing making it interesting and engaging to the reader and easily understood enough that it can be picked up by anyone.

A 9/10 book with minor errors but well written and gives the reader new insights to a few of today's major religions.
