The first impression is the design. The book is made of a hardcover folder. You open it and inside are four small hardcover books, each marked for the seasons: Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter. All four books cover what you may run into as a photographer and makes suggestions on handling. There is mention of film and slide film and its relation to filters, but the book is mostly of a digital nature.
I am not done with the book yet, but I was impressed with the imagery, apparently taken from stock companies, and equipment usage and how to handle weather. Raining? No need to put away your camera. Bright summer sun? Bring it on!
I do see that I can slip the little books out so I can read them better or place them in my camera bag. The font is quite small though. Great photos, good representations of what to shoot. Being in CA, I have no worries about shooting snow since there isn't any!
