Mr. Glickman's special gift in regard to the Crop Circle phenomenon is his willingness to let his love affair with the circlemakers shine forth for all to see. I believe that for whatever reason Mr. Glickman has a special and unique relationship to the entire phenomenon. To me the book is not a third-hand account of a paranormal phenomenon. It is about a man's special relationship with a special phenomenon. Step by step chronologically Mr. Glickman walks us through the journey he has taken in trying to decipher the messages sent to us in these agricultural mandalas. Each time he uses optimism and hope in his understanding of the patterns it seems he (we) is rewarded with another clue. In the final chapter he shares with us his entire process, from inception to understanding. surrounding a recent pattern which is one of the most fascinating and direct messages to us from these entities to date. This understanding comes about through a team effort via other circle readers, perhaps in itself sending us a message on how we are to proceed in our understanding of messages from beyond. But it seems that the makers have sent Mr. Glickman a direct and personal invitation as well - no longer able to walk, Mr. Glickman stoically refuses to trample the crop with his wheelchair and thus has been unable to visit the crop circles he so completely reveres. And yet in this one supremely tantalizing piece, which is outlined wonderfully in the book, the circlemakers have done something very unusual -- they formed the piece to encompass the main road within the glyphs' confines, thus allowing Mr. Glickman to visit the piece in person. Along with a story he reveals about a direct image of a circle glyph being beamed into his living room we begin to see a pattern of an ongoing playful interaction between a force beyond our comprehension and a man very much within it.
