Picked this up at a library used book sale, kept it and idly thumbed through it for some time, each time coming away with something beautiful or useful or both.

An early account of the life of Princess Mary, Princess Royal and Countess of Harewood. This book was officially endorsed, so it does not contain much in the way of quotes from friends, acquaintances, or others. It does, however, give a nice overview of the Princess's life until just after the birth of her sons.

I wish that someone would take up a new biography of the Princess. It would be a wonderful addition to the world of royal biography.
