John G. Gunnell

John G. Gunnell is Distinguished Professor, Emeritus, at the State University of New York at Albany and currently Visiting Affiliate and Research Associate in the Department of Political Science at the University of California at Davis. His most recent books include Imagining the American Polity: toon meer Political Science and the Discourse of Democracy (2004); The Orders of Discourse: Philosophy, Social Science, and Politics (1998); and The Descent of Political Theory: The Genealogy of an American Vocation (1993).
