John Guzzwell

John Guzzwell was in a German camp when he first acquired - from his father - an interest in the sea, His thrilling life includes a Round-the-World cruise in a tiny wooden cruiser he built himself (Trekka) and crewing for the Smeetons on the disastrous attempt to round the horn. John mainly alone repaired the damaged Tzu Hang and the Smeetons sailed off to try again, John, meanwhile, completed his circumnavigation and went on to lead his varied life!
