I've always been a fan of flying and its history: this book has it all. It tells the stories of the men and women (let's not forget Amelia Earhart) who had grand dreams of crossing the Pacific by airplane. This book contains ample photo's to accompany the many stories of the adventurous pilots and their struggles to do what was considered impossible.
