These activities are great in a classroom environment - they make EFL/ESL students feel much more at ease when it comes to interaction. Bear in mind that this is not a textbook where everything is given to learners and teachers, but these activities allow for a more creative approach: they are complementary to the teacher's thematic/vocabulary lessons. So this is very useful, but shouldn't be the core of a lesson as such.
