Korte biografie
Sandy's first book, A Little Something Different was published by Swoon Reads in August 2014, followed by four more since.

She grew up in a family that encouraged reading but she never actually meant to become an author. Failing expository writing her first year of college only solidified the idea that writing probably wouldn't make a great career choice.

She went on to get a BA in Communication and a Master of Library and Information Science, both from Rutgers University.

Eventually she got over her writing failure and discovered that she kind of loved to write.

What a sweet bit of fluff.

This reminds me of the romance novels I read as a kid -- I think maybe they were called Silhouette First Love or something like that.

Anyway, it's just all cute and nervous and wholesome and adorable.

Not a bit of brain power required here but that's a good thing.

Sandy Hall's books are adorable reads.

A Prom to Remember is a cute story about seven high schoolers preparing for their final school prom. It is a significant event as it signals the end of their school years and moving on to the next chapter in their lives. The characters are interesting and diverse and their stories are woven together beautifully. They are relatable characters and I really enjoyed the witty banter between them.

It lightly touches on issues such as identity, anxiety, self doubt and teenage sexuality.

A great YA novel that will appeal to those who enjoyed the likes of 'To All the Boys I've Loved' and 'Almost Impossible'

Eh, it was kind of cute. While I liked Ezra and Gideon, the other characters where meh. I felt they could've been fleshed out a little more and I wouldn't mind knowing a little bit more about Ruby. Other than that, it was a light fluffy romance.

There is such a thing as too much fluff.
Juvenile writing does not help the book either.
This is more like a lousy middle-grade than any sort of YA.
I don't think I will be picking up anything else by this author.
