Great....A snap shop of the 1800's ,Afrikan continent, specifically the western, and central areas and its relationships with European explorers and the Muhammadine Arabs. It is actually presented in a speech delivered by A. Hamilliton ESQ, at the Bromley Literary Institute on tuesday, March 25th, 1862. A wealth of information is presented from the description of the big cities, the bustling trading posts and supermarkets, the artist culture, the slave caravans and much more.

Apparent, as it is now, the Jihad Wars, presented, instability, area unsettlements, and contributed to a development that retarded growth. For security, the city's of 150,000 or more would fortify with walls sufficient enought to resist ordinary attacks. The explorers were there mainly as reconnaisance, to eventually establish trading in the local markets. This gave them a chance to observe the culture and report back to mainly english authority's. Later when trade agreements were established they were able to import cheap goods to the local market in exchange for, indigo, cotton and slaves to the tune of 1,300,000 pounds.
