Lots of action in this thriller and as a bonus for fans of the series, Forgan and Campbell are involved :)

My understanding is that this was written by one of the two cousins who wrote together as "Manning Coles" after the other died. Somehow it lacks the usual verve, despite the presence of Forgan and Campbell.

Not my favorite Hambledon. He is searching for the heir to am Arab state, but when the heir turns out to beg unsatisfactory, his death is arranged to bring in a more deserving heir -- rather a neocolonialist atmosphere.
