The argument in this book is that scientific knowledge follows 'dialectical logic', not formal logic. An interesting starting point, but the author uses such vague language that it's difficult to make heads or tails of what he's trying to say. And some of the support he claims for his thesis in the history of science is just ludicrous. A sufficiently vague philosophy will fit any scientific fact, but that doesn't make it more convincing.
