Charles Haynes

A modern biography of a man who grew up intimitely "knowing" that Meher Baba is God. His story covers his Baba connection from the 1950's up to when this book was written--in 2021--and is filled with some useful reinforcement of the idea that God is about love. Period. This just reinforces my belief that God did not create, nor advocate, the concept of hell...that was Man's doing. Haynes' anecdotes aren't particularly startling or revelatory--more often than not he describes situations that challange the concept of "coincidence"-- but they are comforting. And certainly reassuring for the LGBTQ community.… (meer)
