The heroine is alright, but kind of annoying sometimes. The hero is a giant marshmallow who is head-over-heels for the heroine right away.

The whole "hate" part of their relationship was weak and unbelievable. And I really don't believe in their "love", considering they spent a few hours together, then barely spoke for 5 years.

Also, the Mars dirty talk was a bit strange. But, to each their own.

The Love Hypothesis is a cute contemporary romance about a relationship of convenience. I stayed up very late to finish this book, so I definitely enjoyed reading it. I liked the main characters and the growth of their relationship together, even though the heroine was sometimes annoying and kept things from the hero. I also think that the ending was somewhat rushed and didn't have the oomph that I would have liked. At least there was an epilogue.

I really liked most of this book. There were some things that bugged me, but I'm trying not to let those things take away my enjoyment for the book as a whole.

I like how Elsie grew as a person over the course of the book. I like her friendships and I like how some of her other relationships became healthier as the book went on.

I like Elsie's chemistry and relationship development with Jack. The relationship seems unbalanced for a while, because one of them seems to have their stuff together and the other one doesn't, but that gets better as the book goes on. Both of their characters make mistakes and grow.

As far as the things that I don't like, a big one is the author's obsession with size, which is as clear in this book as it is in all of her others.

Also, I really don't like that Jack told Elsie, in detail, about him having sex with others. When they were making out. And I don't care that she was the one who asked about it. It's gross and unrealistic to me.

Original review:
Under One Roof is an enemies to friends to lovers novella with some forced proximity thrown in. It's pretty cute and I liked the main characters together, even though some of the plot was a bit rushed and the quirkiness of the main characters sometimes felt awkward. I'll definitely continue the series when the ebooks are released.
