Julia Bradshaw recently divorced husband is a powerful man, and the son of an even more powerful man. On the eve of a press conference, Paul is murdered. Julia is the first suspect, but as more information becomes evident, a violent Irish terrorist group enters the mix.

Trust No One is an easy, quick read. There is some depth in the plot with the return of an alcoholic father, and a father in law that attempts to take custody of Julia's son, and a twist at the end, but overall Heggen's story lies a little flat.

This is the first Christiane Heggan book I have read. It wasn’t to bad of a story. I did have some issues. Lola Malone’s body is found. Zoe, her friends and the cops are investigating the crime. Zoe’s father; who was involved with the mob and has been thought to be dead for 30 years, is introduced into the story. You then assume Lola’s murder is going to have something to do with the mob, well it turns out the whole mob story had nothing to do with Lola’s murder or nothing to do with Lola’s killer at all. Very confuessing. I was not happy to learn who the killer was, he was a character I liked from the start of the book. I didn’t like what happened to Zoe’s father, I think they deserved to have a chance to get to know each other again. I thought the climax was weak, but I did enjoy the conclusion.

Above average romantic suspense centering on a politically motivated kidnapping. The story moves along at a good pace although it is a bit short on sparks between the main characters.

Interesting story about Grace McKenzie running an art gallery in a small town in New Hope, PA. Her former fiancé left her the art gallery & although she does not want it, she has to spend a week at the gallery before turning down his request. At the same time, FBI agent Matt Baxter returns to town to clear his father for the murder of Grace's fiancé, Steven Hatfield.

Matt's investigation seems to tie Steven's murder to another murder years ago. As Matt & Grace join forces to unravel an art forger, two murders, affairs, wrong men imprisoned & a priest who isn't what he seems, they get closer to the truth and danger.j

Fast read, lots of interesting characters.
