Carter Heyward is a pioneering feminist theologian. She is the author of eleven other books and had a distinguished teaching career for more than three decades at Episcopal Divinity School, Cambridge, Massachusetts. She was one of eleven women who paved the way for the recognition of women as toon meer priests in the Episcopal Church, which occurred in 1976. Janine Lehane is a poet, artist, horsewoman, and editor from Brisbane, Australia.
