Markings Of The Aces U.S. Navy Book 1 Part 2 Series… door Richard Hill

One of the old Kookaburra series dating from the early 70s. It is a well ilustrated pamphlet form with pictures and short histories of navy fighter squadrons VF-9, VF-10, VF-2, VF-17 (Second Tour), and VF-27. Each squadron has a number of photographs dedicated solely to the unit plus a short history and some side views of squadron aircraft. There are also photographs of other carrier borne units all from 1944-1945 such as VBF-1, VF-15,VF-83, and some others. A nice papmphlet with some nice pictures and narrative.… (meer)
