Bible stories are chronologically presented in simplified form. They are not so simple, however, as to render them the same old, heard them already scripts. I read this book for an overview of the Old Testament of the Bible, a quick study, so when I am actually reading the scriptures I will have better recall of what's happening and how it all fits together. For that the books fully measured up. Children as young as eight years old can comprehend these presentations, and older ones as well as adults can read without boredom or tediousness. That makes them good for a quick reference when you might be trying to remember: Now who was that and exactly how did that happen? Good to have on hand.… (meer)
