Mx loved this book. Got this to promote using Spanish words; may have even been our first Spanish/bilingual book. Funny cute story about a lost sheep that includes lots of adjectives. Ms has been indifferent to it so far.

love that it's bilingual

When I first read this I wasn't impressed by its extreme simplicity.
However, ours came with a green sheep plush doll and the little one would ask to have the book read and then try to 'find' the stuffed green sheep - needless to say this has become the most requested book so for that reason I have given it 4 stars. Having the accompanying green sheep doll turns this book into a fun game.

This is a great book about sheep doing various things in order to find the green sheep. This book is an excellent book to read aloud to students and help them identify important text features such as the use of descriptive concepts.

Here is the blue sheep, and here is the red sheep. Here is the bath sheep, and here is the bed sheep. But where is the green sheep?

A funny book for younger grade levels (pre-K through 2nd). Great for early grades writer's workshops. Children can use the book as a model for their own writing. Recurring line strategy used.

The sheep in this book are SO CUTE. My favorite bit was the thin sheep and the wide sheep playing on the teeter totter. Awesome!

A cute little story about finding a green sheep that follows the circle pattern of writing

Throughout this book, they have the reader wondering where the green sheep was. It knows where different color sheep are, different shape sheep, and other objects of sheep, but can not find the green sheep. It leads up to finding the green sheep. I liked that this book has simple vocabulary for children and keeps them curious. In addition, the page was blank when asking the question "where is the green sheep". I think they could have added more detail rather than just ending it where the green sheep was.

This story is very entertaining and keeps your attention and the illustrations are perfectly going along with the story. Mem Fox writes about the life of a sheep and all the fun activities they are doing. All the sheep are accounted for except the green sheep. All the pages have pictures of the sheep’s action but when the question comes, where is the green sheep? The pages are blank leaving you guessing and wanting to know what could this green sheep be doing? On the last page the mystery is solved the little sheep is found sleeping. How cute!

It is about various colored sheep doing various things with the green sheep that isn't portrayed until the final pages.

I found this story very funny and enjoyable. Throughout the book we are shown the lives of various sheep and their daily activities. From the red sheep to the bed sheep, or the swing sheep and thin sheep they all are having fun. However we can't seem to find the green sheep. The illustrations are great because every time the author asks the question "where is the green sheep?" the illustrations seem to cut off. Its as if the story stops completely and makes us wonder. I did not have the bilingual version of this story but I thought it was great that this book has that option.

A rhyming book that is good to use for under children because there are a lot of references to colors and opposites.

The story is about the many kinds of the sheep, a bed sheep, a far sheep...... but where is the green sheep. The answer is found in the last page of the book. Very interesting

The is the story of all kinds of sheep. There is a bed sheep, a far sheep, and train sheep and many many more but where is the green sheep. All through the book we can't find the green sheep but on the last page, when we turn it quietly, we find the green sheep soundly asleep.

I loved it! Mem Fox has done it again. She used very simple text about a "story of this" ....and let the picture and the child's imagination do the talking. It ends with a kiss ...and did I say Mem Fox? She is genius!
