Witch is the story of a young girl finding magic within herself and in the natural world about her. Overcoming her fears, doubts and negativity, Vania and her friends are able to find courage, truth and magic in the everyday. Respect, love and friendship are gained though positivity, acceptance and trust and it is revealed that while magic is real, it doesn't always turn out as expected. An enchanting story of magical maladies, discovered identities and true love.

In short, don't waste your time or your money. Horne somehow manages to give *fluff bunny* an even worse meaning than normal.

Very pop-wicca based book. I think her brand of Wicca is fairly surface-based. I was disappointed when I found out she had a book on how to cast a spell on a man and get him under your spell, or something to that effect. This is NOT what Wicca, or any Pagan belief system is about. But then, all religions have to deal with those that don't sink below the surface into the real nature of Spirit. That's what Dogma is all about. Still, this book makes for an interesting read and there is always something that can be learned, that's why the 3.

Very pop-wicca story. I haven't read the whole thing yet, so I'll review later. But off hand it is not meeting my expectations. It seems to have been written for the mass market rather than for other pagans. This copy is the Australian release of this book.

This is a great book to read when you are just starting out. It covers the basics and gives you a good insight into the way of magick.
