There were moments in this story where I really enjoyed reading it, but most of the sex (and there is plenty of it in the story) is non-consentual and the Vampire world is not an easy place. This is a story of Vampire children who are playing up and a plan by their parents to make them realise that life has responsibilities and isn't just there for them to exploit.
I wanted to care and I could see that there was potential but it needed characters that I could identify more with.

If I were beta reading this, I'd return it to the author with a heaping ladle full of praise – and a gazillion questions, comments, and critiques. As a first draft, this is a killer premise waiting to be turned into a blockbuster book. But as a finished product that I paid £3.99 for … it falls short.
Also, it needs a content warning for multiple on-page scenes of rape and sexual assault – always told from the perpetrator's perspective.… (meer)
