My father had a whole raft of these; my semi-infinite stack only dates to 2020, which is when I retired. I was a bit taken aback reading the Top Ten News Topics of 2023 (not knowing the cutoff date) that the start of the 2023 Israel-Hamas War was #1 and the repeal of the COVID-19 Public Health Emergency of International Concern - PHEIC- was #8. An essential reference.
Great cast of characters. Not much of a plot.

The pop down TOC has much finer navigation than the active TOC at the front of the book. I like the more detailed navigation.
I rather look forward to the 2022 edition, although it seems like a great deal of it will be identical to this one.… (meer)
