Interesting little book explaining the Army's growing role in intelligence gathering both overseas and domestically. My interest in domestic intelligence gathering and the suppression of radical groups during the World War I was what prompted me to read this book, and I was not disappointed by what I learned.

The book takes us up to the first Gulf War, but there is plenty to learn in light of the excesses practiced by the Bush (43) administration.
