Personal reaction: this was very informative. I do not like informative books because I just find them boring. The Police Station book was a little more interesting. This book can help students learn about banks though.

Extension ideas: this would also help with kids coming up with skits, or learning about being a banker. This would be a good one to read around the time students are being taught about money and how it works and how banks work.… (meer)

Personal Reaction: this is very informative and I would imaging it would be read to younger kids, while I find it interesting that it is 5th grade level.

Extension Ideas: This would be a book to read before parents come in for career day in a classroom, or even just to help kids know that police are good people and are there to help. This could even help when kids are trying to be creative and prepare for skits.… (meer)
