Deze bespreking is geschreven voor LibraryThing Vroege Recensenten.I'm old enough to remember the year 1963 and, specifically, where I was when I heard the news - in Australia - that JFK had been assassinated. There are other events I remember, but this excellent work not only triggered other memories, but it taught me something I can't believe I didn't know: that Queen Elizabeth II and her husband Prince Philip had a real boots and all barney while they were visiting Australia that year. This is a great book, well worth reading.

I was born in 1963 and to find out all these interesting facts about that year was astonishing. The author really did his homework on this book to get some of the information that, quite frankly, I didn't think was possible to get. Kudos to you!
