Note the subtitle of this book: "The secret to building a successful business on your own." This book caters to the new economy type businesses, such as internet companies run out of your home and in your spare time, while trying to build something that allows you to quit your day job. If this is the type of book you are looking for, I would only read it after reading Tim Ferriss' 4-Hour Workweek and The E-Myth revisited, as they will provide you with a much better foundation for what you are looking to do. If you are thinking of starting an "old-school" business, the parts on ASP's, core competence and questions to ask are good, but that is probably 20 pages of the book.
