I won’t be able to properly articulate how much i enjoyed this book. I feel sad that i haven’t read it until now. Sad for the past me who needed this book the most. Will i ever be the same? A bit dramatic, sure. But i don’t care. This was a fantastic read. And to think i almost dnf’d at the very beginning because i was going in blind and didn’t really know what was happening. I hope everyone one day gets to find a book that speaks to them in the way this did to me.

Plus lgbtq representation and a real focus on the anxiety/stress that surrounds finishing high school and looking toward college. I'll definitely be recommending it to our teens, though with a caveat that there's a fair amount of alcohol consumption in the story. It's set in the UK where the drinking age is lower, but there's enough teens getting drunk that it might be worth a heads up.… (meer)
