Charly Poisson is a delightful, if shallow, character. The author improved her mystery technique this time by keeping us out of the murder scene, but the perpetrator was still no mystery, even for me. A light, even read with many wonderful French recipes at the end of each chapter. This book still has not a whisper of romance, but does dip its toes into domestic violence, by suggestion. A very mild, easy read without any real surprises. The wrap up in the last chapter almost leaves me feeling like something was left out.… (meer)
