Claude Nicolas Ledoux: Unpublished Projects door Michael Gallet
Stimulated by the discovery of 68 hitherto unpublished designs by Ledoux, who was an important architect at the time of the French Revolution, this publication provides an account of the architect's life before and during the Revolution, including his commentaries on individual buildings. Precise details of Ledoux' relationship with his clients and colleagues are included.
This reproduction is quite wonderful. The drawings cover the work of Ledoux very well and capture his quirky and sometimes strange attitude toward history and the future.
