Chris Lemmon

A loving tribute to actor Jack Lemmon by his son Chris. The book provides anecdotes of Chris’ memories of his time with his famous father. These include the not so good times when Jack divorced Chris’ mom when he was young and his distant relation with Jack’s second wife, actress Felicia Farr. However, Jack Lemmon was truly a decent, honest man who did his best to ensure that his son knew he loved him and Chris never doubted this love. The anecdotes in this book are sometimes hilarious, sometimes heart warming, and sometimes sad. The book ends with reminiscences from those who knew or worked with Jack Lemmon including Neil Simon, Blake Edwards, and Julie Edwards. I wish the photos that introduced each chapter had been a bit larger and that there had been more photos. Otherwise, a wonderful tribute and easy to read book.… (meer)
