This is a technical book aimed at teaching the reader how to understand, write, maintain, and deploy com objects using Visual Basic. I believe this book is written with VB.6 in mind, although it might be earler; it certainly is not written for the Dot Net version, and therefore is out of date and has been for at least a couple of years now. A couple of year is a LONG time in the world of technology. Rating this on its own merits, the book was useful and thorough as a guide though singularly uninspiring to me. Perhaps it was I who was unmotivated, but the book did not stir any excitement or interest in the process and consequently I used it but little.… (meer)
