Ivan Light

A 3-night movie special? A PBS docudrama maybe? The thing i love about historical fiction is that the author gets to say what he/she thinks, get their point across without the fear of finger-pointing. ( wrong colored shoes for the era etc- god forbid)

Ivan Light has taken a major, international, historical event and created a possible/probable scenario that i've always believed took place. An event that was highly influential in whether or not the U.S. entered WW 1......
Anyone who happens to think reading history is a bore will NOT be thinking that of this of Deadly Secret, Ivan has made this into a mystery involving intrigue, secret groups, governments on both sides of the ocean, with characters that run thru the pages. Yes, the LUSITANIA was torpedoed by a German sub....once. So why were there 2 distinct explosions? On a supposed passenger ship going from the US to England no less!
He has presented us with one hell of a novel. 10 STARS… (meer)
