Some mythology places the origins of the tarot back with the Egyptian Book of the Dead and attempts to keep that arkane knowledge alive--so perhaps it is appropriate that this tarot uses egyptian imagery with traditional tarot meanings. It fits well into my tarot collection which i try to keep within the tarot tradition but with new and unique images and this is a beautiful deck.
