Della Maison

Tenderheart Bear wanted to grow a garden but the only place that had soil was on Earth. So she searched all over Earth until she found a vacant lot in a big city and her and her friends began a garden. Before they knew it people from the neighborhood stated lending a hand in the garden. Tenderheart and her friends were so happy that people grew closer as neighbors while in the process of growing a community garden.

Personal Reaction:
I thought that this book has a good and it reminded me when I was young. It also had an underline moral of helping.

Classroom extensions:
1) I would have the students grow something in class
2) I would ask the students how they might help people in their neighborhood.… (meer)
