Should be required reading for anyone planning a thru-hike. Written as a series of thoughts as bullet points with some redundancy. Knowledge contained within offsets any writing issues by far.

A few places where usage has evolved, but overall, this is an elegant guide to basic grammar and style. I appreciate that it included diagramming, and passages from across a long span of time. This one stays on the shelf for future reference.
