Blodwedd Mallory

Wow - what an opening and what a story! This was another wonderful page-turner from Mallory. It's a race against time and the US Military to save Solomon Island and everyone they know on it. I love the different perspectives shown in the book, and I couldn't put it down once I started. I definitely recommend reading the whole series before diving into this one, although Wedd gives the reader a brief overview of the important events thus far. An excellent book overall.

The Black House has one of my favorite opening lines. The theme is haunted houses, and everyone knows ghosts are what makes it all more real. Filled with chills, this is a fun, quick read for anyone who likes a little spooky in their lives. This short story can be enjoyed even if you haven't read the series (I haven't yet, but I'm looking forward to it).
