A delightful and beautifully produced account of Russell Maret's adventures in Monotype composition casting. An intensely pleasant book-object.

Facsimile edition of a great project in what Russell Maret and Tim Barrett thought of as "utilitarian bookmaking" - sending a cookbook around to various bibliophiles (who had contributed the recipes), having them write in the book as they cooked, and then turning the result into a compilation volume (and the originals into an exhibition, too). Great fun, and there are some wonderful recipes here too.
