We also see how they can help us be as serious or silly as we want to be, especially with masks that give us the face of a puppy, kitten, or our favorite animated character!

The most important thing it does though is help normalize in a kid-friendly way a situation that is anything but normal...and THAT can be the difference between having kiddos wear this not-as-comfortable accessory willingly and an every day struggle. We know they're not fool proof, but until things are safer, they're are certainly better than nothing in most situations.
