Kenneth R. McGruther

Kenneth R. McGruther is a Lieutenant Commander in the United States Navy and a Surface Warfare Officer with extensive experience in cruisers and destroyers. He is a graduate of Dartmouth College and a prize-winning Distinguished Graduate of the Naval War College. This monograph was accomplished while he was participating in the Chief of Naval Operations Professional Development Program concurrently with earning his Masters Degree in Political Science at Brown University. Lt. Cdr. McGruther is currently (1979) the Executive Officer of U.S.S. Joseph Strauss, a guided-missile destroyer.
