This book has all of the elements I enjoy; menage, romantic suspense, and psychic elements. The story was light on the romantic suspense, but the interesting menage relationship with the twin brothers who have a psychic connection makes up for it.

I really liked this one. It had a good mix of suspense and romance so that neither outweighed the other.

Other reviewers have gone through the synopsis a lot better than I could so basically it's a supermodel who was kidnapped, escaped, and is put under the protection of a pair of psychic twins.

These twins work. The premise of their 'power' being they can link with the owner of an item if both of them are touching it at the same time and that they can feel what the other is feeling (pain & pleasure) naturally leads into the consequence that if one of them falls in love the other will as well. The different personalities also works for me as I've come across that idea before (that they're two parts of a whole so one is more forceful than the other) and it also just seems to make sense.

Now, onto the things that bugged me about this. As other reviewers have said with all of their money why didn't they hire private security when they knew the stalker had a lead on their location (when the nurse was found dead). Speaking of which, I'm thinking she let the information out way too easily. Most hospitals I've worked in are very strict with 'need to know' information. If it's known that the FBI are protecting someone why on earth would information be given out! Most nurses I've come across are way too wordly aware to sucumb to flattery of the type given here. And when is a business card sufficient identification when they're freely available through the internet even if you don't take into account that I haven't come across any printing place which has required anything other than you writing down what words you want to appear (and the format these are to appear in). For Heaven's sake.... you could even print them out on your home printer if you want. That really didn't ring true to me.

Kaycee says that she thinks the photos will give a clue about who the stalker is. So they have to wait for FBI proceedure to deliver them by courier. ?is there no scanner in the FBI office so she could see them sooner. (well possibly it's a case of the need for a secure system... but even so we live in an electronic age, why did these need to be delivered by hand) It did mean that Scott was identified at a suitably suspenseful moment but it felt like a bit of a forced delay to me.

So.. 2 FBI agents suspect the stalker is actually on the ranch, they've tried to make him angry to draw him in by necking on the porch and then they let the heroine be alone in a room which is easily accessed from the outside?! What was wrong with the movie room in the basement.

It was a good read and I really did enjoy it though.

2.5 stars

This book started out okay, but I started losing interest halfway through. The sex scenes were pretty hot at first, but they got old quickly. The writing style is very similar to a Lora Leigh novel, IMO, and I think that took some of the reading pleasure away. I like Lora Leigh, but I have to be in a certain mood to read her stuff.

I thought the idea of the twins falling in love with the same woman a bit ridiculous. If one fell in love, the other one automatically fell in love. That takes away their choice and it seems fate dictates what happens. Apparently, they were sharing one soul or something like that. That aside, I felt there was a lack of character development with all involved. I thought the author was telling us instead of showing us that the Kaycee, Sam and Tyler were in love. The ending was anti-climatic and not in the least suspenseful. I didn’t think this was very good.

3.5 stars rounded up. It would be a solid 4 if it weren't for some editing issues.

I enjoyed the book very much. The world building was fascinating. Sid was a great character, the way he did what he had to do (terrible things) in order to bring about the rebel plan. I will definitely be reading more in the series.

This is a great interduction to a new series. There is lots of political intrigue, spies, and rebels fighting for a cause. There is also a lot of action as well as a lot of witty dialogue and interaction between all the main characters. This is a well thought out story and universe and will make you want to get the next book to see what happens to the rest of the secondary characters.

What could possibly be better than a sexy as sin alpha male with a sweet and tender side??? TWO

This is a story that you can pick up and the next thing you know there are no pages left. A fast paced story great blend of romance / erotica / mystery & a set of psychic twins you'll wish were yours.

I look forward to reading more books from this author.

This book was my introduction to Trista Ann Michaels and I am ever so glad to have discovered her. WOW! Great story, well written relationships, scenes that make you squirm and sweat. This one is unlikely to ever get archived on my nook since I'm sure I will read it again...soon.

This book was a pleasure to read on all fronts. The relationships between the characters, especially between the main two were very well done. The verbal sparing often had me on the verge of spraying my soda all over my nook. This is an author I'd gladly indulge in again.

Trista Ann Michaels' "Their One and Only" is a combination of erotica, mystery, and action with a smattering of the paranormal. The heroine is certainly a damsel in distress and the heroes are hunky FBI types. All three characters have been hurt in the game of love before and are therefore a little wary about opening their hearts. I like that Michaels didn't ignore the mystery and action for the sex. It's all there and it all plays a part in the story.

Kaycee is a supermodel who's just about ready to jump off the merry-go-round that is her career. She's salted away enough cash, invested it well, and is tired of the constant lifestyle restrictions necessary to be a top model. Yet it's not until she's kidnapped and almost killed that Kaycee understands what's really important in her life..and what she'll have to accept to get it.

Sam and Tyler are profilers for the FBI who use their unique twin psychic connection to help solve crimes. When they're called in on Kaycee's case, they realize she's the ultimate target of a serial killer who's been operating for a while now...snatching women who resemble her until he can get a shot at Kaycee. When they use their special senses to connect to Kaycee, Tyler quickly succumbs to her strength and beauty. So he convinces Sam to bring her to their ranch to protect her--and hopefully give her a chance to come to love BOTH of them. Because being identical twins with their kind of connection requires a special kind of woman...one who can accept them both.

I enjoyed the majority of the book and even thought the plot was pretty well done for one so well-used. My only big beef was the killer and how incredible I found it that Kaycee hadn't caught on to him before. Also how he was so agile in evading detection and managed to get to her under the brothers' care. But if you can overlook these things, you'll probably enjoy "Their One and Only". And for those who dislike menage books with anal sex, there's none of that here. So you can enjoy your guilty pleasures!½

What a great book. I didn't want it to end. I would give this more than 5 stars if possible. I rarely read books more than once, but this one is a keeper, and will be an exception.

I read book 2 of this series first, mostly for something to try and found I liked it. I went back to book one and I liked this one even more. To quote my comments on "Crossing the Line": I like this series. Nice world building (although as a sf/f reader I would love more detail about it and its history), very engaging characters, hot sex and the hint of lots more tales to tell.
