T. M. Moore is theological advisor for Prison Fellowship and Chuck Colson. In addition, he provides distance-learning consulting for Reformed Theological Seminary and has served as North American editor for Scripture Union USA for over ten years. Previously he was executive pastor at Coral Ridge toon meer Presbyterian Church in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, and was president of Chesapeake Theological Seminary in Baltimore until 1999 toon minder

Despite some of Moore's helpful insights, I had a hard time with his conclusion that pop culture presents an opportunity for the Christian to effectively communicate the transcendent Christian message. His shallow analysis of pop culture leads to the conclusion that the Church has an oblligation to capture its forms in order to fulfill the cultural mandate and transform society. The book is not without merit as the author puts forward some interesting arguments but fails, in the end, to convince.… (meer)
