Alfie the crocodile wants to send a letter to his grandma. He hopes she will write back and send a letter to him, but it is taking so long to arrive and Alfie is getting tired of waiting. This cute story is suitable for early readers ages 4-7 with its large print, short sentences, and simple vocabulary. It can also teach kids about writing letters and sending a letter through the mail. The simple illustrations use bright colors and really enhance the charm of the story. This book is the sequel to another book featuring Alfie the crocodile called May I Please Have a Cookie?, although it is not necessary to read that book to fully enjoy this one.… (meer)
