The novels starts with a storyteller telling a story. The author plays with the reader. It’s rather different and funny. The novel then starts with an intro to the Winged Ones who attacked the terra. Next our three heroes namely Arc, Rose and Prince are introduced. It’s a shame really that the characters are not given any depth. All three starting at Fort Lithos which is an educational academy and military base. It is referred to as one of the biggest in North-western Continent.

During the whole novel no indication or detailed description is provided for most stuff. Scores of chances of developing characters are missed out. Training and education period was cut short which makes many of the characters feel underdeveloped. Unnecessary things like Pirates, Kraken, Sirens, Cyclops and Nymphs are added to increase the length of the novel. At times it felt too much of them were added to the novel to keep the pace.

For a first novel I would still congratulate the author as the novel’s not terrible. The story and characters had potential.But still the wrong clichés, ill-timed puns and cheesy lines make you think if the novel is written for pre-teens. The continuous movie and pop culture references make it feel very silly.… (meer)
