Bounced this way after watching the anime, and, um. Not entirely sure what I've just read is this actual book? Plaintext English with some art, and utterly appalling writing/editing. I'm guessing what I was handed was... I dunno. Some knock-off? A scanlation passed as the real thing, badly? I just dunno.

I want my two dollars back.

Here's hoping the real thing - if it exists - is better.

A pretty interesting concept. I liked the stark boldness of the authors in just going (in a rather 4th-wally way) "and our hero is sucked into another world. So, the story starts..."

Because it takes some time to establish what's going on, the first volume doesn't tell you much more than the blurb: our protagonist is suddenly in a fantasy world, and when he dies he reverts back in time. Which means he can try again.

I'm concerned this is going to get a bit violent for my tastes, but it seems like a promising story. It'll depend on how the characters develop.
